How Organizing Can Help Us Get Through the Recent Events in Tennessee—and Activate Our Local Community
The past few weeks have been filled with heartbreaking news—mass shootings, the expulsion of two…
How can we create a better Central Valley where faith and justice can be used to help the people who need it the most?
This is the question that the Rev. Dr. Frederick Douglass Haynes III—a prophetic pastor, passionate leader, social activist, eloquent orator and educator—called us to reflect on last month during our first Faith & Justice Revival.
The answer to that question is clear. “Construct structures of equity and opportunity,” he said.
Dr. Haynes also reminded us that, “whatever privilege you have should be used to heal those who don’t have your privilege!”

If you feel called to build new structures of equity and opportunity and to promote healing, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Together, let’s do what Dr. Haynes said to do, which is to construct justice and build opportunities for our communities.
